Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Max & Me account and all of the data associated with it. Deletion cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

Signed in on the web? Go to Settings and choose Delete my account. Otherwise:

  1. Email support@maxandme.net from the address you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my Max & Me account". The button below pre-fills the email.
  2. We verify the request came from the account owner. We may reply to confirm.
  3. Your account and data are deleted within 30 days, usually much sooner. We will email you when it is done.

Signed-in deletion from this website is coming soon. Until then, email is the way.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, including name, bio, pet details and photos
  • All activities, routes, GPS data, stats and badges
  • Saved places and planned routes
  • Follows, reactions and comments
  • Your conversations and messages
  • Push notification tokens and device records

Feedback reports you submitted are kept in anonymized form with no link to you. Backups are cleared on a rolling basis within 30 days.

Want to keep your account instead?

You can delete individual activities and photos inside the app, make entries private, or simply sign out. See the Help Center or read our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
